In the R+D-project „goe:base“ 4 energy supply systems for industrial sites are investigated in which thermal storage devices for the use of renewable energy and the reduction of CO2-emissions are integrated. 2 systems use shallow geothemal energy as source and sink, the 2 other systems are used as reference and are equipped with simpler and easier contollable water storage tanks. Questions with regard to planning basics, to the system integration, to the operational behavior and also to their contribution to an emission-free heat supply will have been answered in the project. The results are shown for the cases of the VW production hall 18 in Emden which is equipped with energy piles and of the „energy-management-low-energy-storage tank" in the supply system of the Fa. Oeding Print GmbH in Braunschweig.
