The high-performance ring tube geothermal probe, which is currently being introduced to the market by the companies BLZ Geotechnik GmbH and Transflow Prozesstechnik GmbH, offers the possibility of increasing the heat yield by more than 30% compared to traditional U-probes at little additional financial expense. Measurement results of a one-year heating operation in comparison with other probe types are shown and analyzed.
