In the lecture, depending on the energetic efficiency, the frequently used geothermal heat exchangers with the new ring tube heat exchanger are evaluated according to the criteria of economic efficiency, effort for production, installation in the drilling field and connection to the building technology. The reports from the manufacture to the operation of the ring tube probe are based on our own experiences. The supply of a residential building with 3 different types of probes is estimated over an entire season with heating and cooling and the energetic performance is shown.
