The GeoTHERM - expo & congress is an annual trade fair with accompanying scientific congress, which takes up the current developments of the industry and creates an international platform, which dedicates itself to the possibilities, chances and risks of the use of geothermal energy in a technical and neutral way. This gives exhibitors, speakers and visitors alike the opportunity to find out about the latest developments and to exchange ideas in a global dialog.

Are you interested in giving a presentation at the next GeoTHERM? You can submit an abstract of your planned presentation to this abstract journal.

We require your submission in the form of an extended abstract of max. 3 DIN A4 pages, as well as the classification in the area of near-surface or deep geothermal energy.

Alternatively, you have the option of submitting a scientific poster.

Submissions for the GeoTHERM 2026 congress are only possible via the open journal platform until August 31, 2025. 

The scientific advisory board of the GeoTHERM expo & congress will select the contributions submitted to the call for papers and will inform the authors about the result of the review in a double blind procedure. After acceptance of the contribution and successful presentation during GeoTHERM 2026 (26. + 27. February 2026 in Offenburg, Germany), a detailed article can be published in the GeoTHERM Journal.
