Author Guidelines

The article to be submitted must comply with the author guidelines, which you can find under Author's Notes!

Here are the main guidelines:

The abstract should summarize the content of the paper. Try to keep the abstract to less than 200 words.

The submitted paper must be suitable in its final form to be printed directly without any editing. Your paper must be submitted in electronic format. The only acceptable format is DOC(X).
The length of the paper should not exceed 3000 words.

Compose your paper in two columns on A4 size paper (297 mm * 210 mm). The paper orientation is portrait. On the first page, the distance from the top edge of the paper to the top edge of the first line of text (title) should be 5.0 cm. From the second and all following pages, the distance from the top edge of the paper to the top edge of the first font line should be 3.0 cm. The left and right margins should be 2 cm. The bottom margin between the last line of text and the edge of the paper should be at least 2.0 cm, but no more than 10 cm on the last article page. Each individual column should have a width of 8 cm. The space between columns should be about 1 cm. Use justified text. Avoid hyphenation.
We recommend Calibri font with point size 12.
The submission title should be centered at the top of the first page and written in Calibri at a prominent point size of 16. It should be bolded and lowercase beginning with a capital letter.

Headings should be column centered in bold type (Calibri 14) and capitalized without underlining.
A total of five to seven keywords should follow the summary.

Illustrations or pictures: Label and number each illustration. All halftone illustrations or images should be clearly visible in black and white prints.
Do not include page numbers in your paper under any circumstances. Also, do not have the pages numbered. These will be added when the proceedings are compiled.
Footnotes are to be single-spaced at the bottom of the page in which they are cited. Footnotes should be infrequent.

All bibliographic citations are to be listed and numbered at the end of the paper. For in-text references, place the reference number in square brackets, e.g., [1]. Include the name(s) of the editor(s) of the books cited, if applicable.

The following is an example of the recommended style for citations:

[1] C.W. Churchman (1971): „The Design of IT- Systems“, Basic Books Inc. Pub., New York, 1971

[2] J. Ivari (1991): „A Paradigmatic Analysis of Contemporary Schools", European Journal of Information Systems, Vol. 1, No. 4, 1991, pp. 249-272., doi: https://doi.org/10.50010/235

The editors reserve the right to insert the GeoTHERM header and the DOI in the required place in your article.
