The author hereby grants to GeoTHERM Journal the non-exclusive right to publish the article published by him in GeoTHERM Journal as an online document including the description data ("metadata") created for this purpose in an issue of the Journal for the duration of the legal term of protection and without any territorial restriction, to permanently store it electronically and to make it publicly accessible. The rights to exploit the contribution in other forms (including PRINT) remain unaffected.

For the purpose of long-term archiving and while maintaining the integrity of the content, the publisher is entitled to make technical changes to the document. The GeoTHERM Journal is entitled to transfer the rights of online publication granted by this agreement in whole or in part to third parties and to grant simple rights of use to other libraries, archives or open access portals without requiring the separate consent of the author(s).

The author(s) affirm that they are entitled to grant the above-mentioned copyrighted rights of use to the contribution, including any third-party text and/or images contained therein. They further assure that they are responsible for the content of the work made available for publication and that no legal regulations and no rights of third parties (e.g. copyrights) are violated by such publication. They undertake to indemnify the operators of the GeoTHERM Journal from all claims of third parties based on a claim for which they are responsible, as well as to reimburse all costs incurred due to the claim for which they are responsible.

The GeoTHERM Journal does not pursue any economic interests with the publication of the journal. Therefore, authors may submit their contributions free of charge and may not claim any remuneration for the submissions.
